  • PRE-CARE

    • Please ensure you have filled out your medical history and consultation forms in a timely manner, before the day of your treatment. These have been sent to your email address.
    • Please let your Practitioner know if you are on any medication (topical and/ or oral), have any medical conditions, or are being treated by a physician for any conditions.
    • If you would like a Mole, Sebaceous Hyperplasia or Seborrheic Keratosis removed, please ensure you have a letter from your GP/Dermatologist confirming that they are benign and safe for removal.
  • POST-CARE

    • Headaches are not uncommon and can last for 2 hours post treatment.
    • Most healing is straightforward and occurs without problem.
    • Most healing will take place in 4-6 weeks in line with cellular turnover. However, sometimes it takes longer as all skin varies and can take longer to regenerate.
    • IF your healing takes longer than 6 weeks, please contact your Practitioner and your GP if necessary for review.
    • Healing can take much longer for those with a compromised immune system.
    • Lesions will initially go darker and then ‘fall off’.
    • We include up to 3 treatments in the initial cost as some lesions can be more stubborn than others and require further treatment.
    • You are required to leave 4 weeks in between appointments. If you do not come back in 4 weeks, you will void your additional treatments that are included and will be required to pay again if you need further treatment on the same lesion.
    • A blister may appear in the treated area and can last anywhere from 2 hours to a few days.
    • DO NOT POP THE BLISTER! You may apply a small amount of antiseptic cream but use sparingly.
    • If you keep catching the area and it is feeling sore, for example, you have had a skin tag treated that is rubbing on your clothing, you may apply a plaster if necessary but you want the treated area to get lots of fresh air and to ‘breathe’ so be sure to not cover it for a long period of time. Bacteria loves soggy skin!
    • When the lesion disappears, you will see pink, shiny skin. THIS IS NOT A SCAR. This is fresh, new skin that needs to pigment. It is ESSENTIAL that you use SPF50 liberally to avoid damage.
    • No sun exposure 7-14 days post treatment. If you must be in the sun, please ensure you apply your SPF 50 liberally and re-apply every 2-3 hours. Wear a hat and sunglasses and seek shade where possible.
    • Avoid skincare products on the treated area that contain Retinoids, AHA/BHA exfoliating acids or anything abrasive for a minimum of 14 days. Use gentle, calming and hydrating products only. Avoid fragranced/perfumed products.
